Yet Knowing How Way Leads On To Way

Somewhere Only We Know

Pursue The Ceaseless Way

We Crossed That Bridge

Losing Track Of Time

And Such As We Did Tread

To A Wilder Place

And You Came To Me On A Summer Breeze

At The Change Of Seasons

The Gardener’s Journey

Hinterland

The Old Bridge

On The Way To The Secret Passage

Something In The Way She Moves

Lay Of The Land

And It Makes Me Wonder

Just One Way In

Two Trees On The Esplanade

The Softness Under The Souls

Peace Comes Dripping Slow

Under The Weeping Willow

Over Rock And Under Tree

Around The Sacred Shores

To And Fro

With The Tide Coming In

Treading The Boards

Running Free

The Lagoon

Want To Write Her Name In The Sand

Passing Through

Mile A Minute

It’s Where The Water Flows

In A Delicate World

With Trees At My Window

She Chased That Feeling

In The Arms Of The Ocean

Coming Back To Life

At The Start Of Summer

Your Stairway Lies On The Whispering Wind

Birds Of A Feather

At The Break Of Day

Minjerribah Shadows

When She Wants To Rock She Rocks

To Places We Hardly Knew

We Found A Way To The Hills

Two Names Upon The Shore

Motions Of The Sea

Days LikeThese

Getting Closer

Taking A Breath

Wave Break

Chasing The Late Sun

The Water Lets You In

Rolling In

Love At First Sight

Land’s End

My Nest Of Salt

Undreamed Shores

The Ocean Became Her

Stepping Out

One Fine Day

From The Beach To The Bay

Back To The Beach

One Day I Wrote Her Name Upon The Rock

All We Ever Look For

Timeless Sea Breezes

The Cove

Beside The Ocean Of Time

Tangle Of Pandanus

Little Resilient Runner

It Was All She Wanted

Magnolia Bay

The Ocean Beckoned

There Are Two Paths You Can Go By

Artist’s Statement

I’m very inspired by the coastal regions of South East Queensland and Northern NSW. I’m equally inspired by the gardens, wildlife and surrounding landscape of our hinterland bush property. I use the experience of plein air painting and sketching along with photography and memories, often combining imagery from these two different types of landscapes, to create pictures that explore how we actually see and experience the world around us.
My art is an attempt to create a total synthesis of my visual sensations and lived experiences, they are emotional responses to these places tempered and informed by my keen interest in gardening, wildlife, literature and the natural world.
