Queensland born Lawrence Starkey, started his vocation as an artist 28 years ago and has consistlently built a following for his evocative and detailed artworks.
With a solid grounding in technical profficiency, Starkey’s creative imagination can roam where it wills, uninhibited and confident in his mastery over his chosen mediums.
Lawrence has exhibited extensively in the USA, Japan and Australia. In addition to gaining numerous awards he is part of a growing international market with his paintings regularly appearing in an variety of US magazines including, U.S.Art Magazine, Infomart and South West Art Magazine.Starkey has returned in 2010 to Australia from the USA to re-energise his career here.
