Finalist in the John Fries Memorial Art Prize, with One Thing Lead to Another (and one thing leads to another), 2012 (top), Finalist in the Marie Ellis OAM Prize For Drawing, Brisbane with Knuckles Cracked – these hands (let it fall) (middle) and… Finalist in The Wilson Visual Arts Award with This Mess We’re In (bottom).
Carolyn tells us that, “Selection was based on a developed body of work and technique, consistency of discipline and strong exhibiting over a three year period… Only 20 artists were selected from both Australia and New Zealand. It is the first time that I have had my sculptural practice recognized by my peers in such a prestigious award.
