Artist Statement

I create illustrative works featuring animals, nature and the human figure.  I try and express emotion through subject matter and my application of media.

My work is inspired by myth, narrative and personal experience.

I work using gouache and watercolour, trying to make the most of colour to create a pleasing atmosphere.
